The Willows Yoga in Encinitas, California is offering scholarships for Anusara yoga teacher training for both the February and August 2008 sessions.  Each scholarship is worth up to $800.  Application for the Spring session must be received by Feb 08, 2008.

Teacher Training Overview:
Learn the art of teaching yoga in a nuturing environment, and share deeply with others on your journey to the truth of your practice. John Friend, Anusara founder, has designated this Immersion program as a prerequisite for Teacher Training in the Anusara tradition and is registered with Yoga Alliance ™ at the 200 hour level. Completion of Immersion I, II III and the Teachers' Immersion segment, along with completion of assignments and apprenticeship, qualifies students for 200 hours of Yoga Alliance Registration.

Instructor: Sherry Schreck, M.S., is a prominent Anusara Yoga teacher in the San Diego area and co-founder of The Yoga Center. She has trained extensively under John Friend and conducted many workshops, classes and teacher trainings. A talented and creative instructor, Sherry emphasizes coming from the heart as a life art.
