The featured item at the auction will be an original painting of children in rural Africa by Toni Danchik. Giclee prints of this painting will also be available for purchase the evening of the event. Because Toni was born and raised in South Africa, her work is even more inspiring to Wells of Life and its supporters. She has a true sense of life in this part of the world and can depict this in her paintings capturing the true essence of her subject. Toni is an accomplished artist who has had the chance to study with well-known artists in the field of fine art.
Other auction items include: Wyland crystal pieces, Hotel LePigonnet package, Custom Comfort gift basket, LA Galaxy tickets, Chanel sunglasses, LifeSource water, blue ray player, and various other dining and services certificates.
"The Wells of Life mission to drill 1,000 water wells in Uganda within the next ten years will become a reality with the success of this fundraiser," said Nick Jordan, President of Wells of Life. "We are excited about the great support we've received from the community and our donors for this event and look forward to a great evening."
Upcoming event: Wells of Life will be hosting their first annual fall fundraiser on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 6pm to 9pm at the Mission Viejo Country Club. Corporate sponsorship is also available for $5,000 and includes 10 tickets and advertisement in the program and during the event.
