The Wedding Dress Party brings former brides and brides-to-be together to celebrate everything wonderful about wedding dresses. Started by a former bride with a wedding dress hanging in her closet, the premise of The Wedding Dress Party is to give former brides the chance to get a return on their investment while having a going away wearing and party for their dress. For the former brides, selling a dress at The Wedding Dress Party is an opportunity for their dresses to do good for a future bride and for young women with breast cancer in the Philadelphia area. The Wedding Dress Party has a benefiting charity, The Young Survival Coalition of Philadelphia, a 501(c) charity for young women with breast cancer. A percentage of ticket proceeds to The Wedding Dress Party will go directly to The Young Survival Coalition. In addition, former brides who sell their dresses get the chance to make a donation from the dress sale to the charity.
