WEBSITE MAKING SPLASH IN MUSIC SCENE

Indianapolis Software Company Announces Launch Party

Indianapolis, IN -- April 30th, 2007 -- Open Bracket, LLC, an Indianapolis-based software start-up, announced today that it will be hosting a launch party in late May for its website, SplashTone.com. The site will enrich the arts community by allowing both amateur and professional artists to easily find venues where they can perform. Event planners will also benefit by gaining tools to manage performances and by greatly expanding their access to talent.

The launch party will be held in Indianapolis at Birdy's Bar and Grill on May 26th. The event will feature several Indianapolis and Chicago rock bands and all the booking will be done through SplashTone.com. Open Bracket expects a large turnout and hopes that Indianapolis will become a leader in changing the way performances are booked. SplashTone.com is also an official sponsor of the upcoming 2007 Battle of the Bands competition in Indianapolis, hosted by IndyMusicScene.com, and is giving away a free six month SplashTone.com subscription to all participants. First, second, and third place winners of the battle will receive a free one-year subscription in 2008. SplashTone.com was conceived late last year by Colin Mathews, drummer for former Indianapolis-based rock band Broken Stone. Mathews, 25, has always seen the need for more unity in the music scene, but says only now does he have the skills and know-how to do something about it.

"With the success of MySpace™," Mathews says, "artists have finally started making strong use of the Internet and the results are deafening. MySpace™ has done wonders for creating a bond between artists and their fans. With SplashTone.com, we are taking the next logical step and providing artists and venues with professional tools for booking, networking, and getting paid online."

Bob Cowherd, partner at Open Bracket, says, "SplashTone.com works for a variety of performing artists, from death metal to string quartets. Similarly, a wide range of event planners, from theaters and bars, to coffee shops and wedding planners are empowered to book great performers. The site has been designed from the ground up to be simple, easy to use, and inclusive. SplashTone.com allows anyone to very quickly connect with the artists or venues they need, without the barriers that exist today."

SplashTone.com is currently free to all users, but will soon charge $9.99 per month for artists. Event planner or venue accounts will always be free, as Mathews and Cowherd want to keep a healthy collection of events available on their site at all times.
