VERA BRADLEY OPENS BRANDED STORE IN BRIDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY
Branded retail store opens in Bridgewater Commons

Fort Wayne, Ind. -- March 18, 2008 -- Vera Bradley, a leading manufacturer of handbags, travel bags and accessories, announces the opening of a branded retail store in Bridgewater, N.J.

The 1,100 square foot store, located in Bridgewater Commons, is designed to immerse the consumer in the brand through a lifestyle presentation.

“Every detail: the fixtures, furniture, rugs, paint colors, even the lighting, has been carefully selected by the Vera Bradley design team,” said Kim Mack, VP of Retail.  “Our consumers will be able to experience the brand within an environment that is interactive, fun and features the entire range of Vera Bradley products.”

In addition to their internationally recognized handbags, accessories and travel items, Vera Bradley Bridgewater Commons will carry a complete range of Vera Bradley products, including rolling luggage, tableware, stationery, rugs and men’s ties.

This is the 11th company store for Vera Bradley.  Ten more are planned for 2008, including Bellevue Square in Bellevue, Wash., Watters Creek in Allen, Texas and Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif.

The new store is located next to Williams-Sonoma.  Store hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am – 9:30pm, Friday and Saturday, 10am -10pm, Sunday, 11am – 7pm. The store phone number is (908) 526-3427.
