Branded retail store opens in Ala Moana Center

Fort Wayne, Ind. -- March 10, 2008 -- Vera Bradley, a leading manufacturer of handbags, travel bags and accessories, announces the opening of a branded retail store in Oahu, HI.

The 1800 square foot store, located in the Ala Moana Center, is designed to immerse the consumer in the brand through a lifestyle presentation.

“Every detail: the fixtures, furniture, rugs, paint colors, even the lighting, has been carefully selected by the Vera Bradley design team,” said Kim Mack, VP of Retail.  “Our consumers will be able to experience the brand within an environment that is interactive, fun and features the entire range of Vera Bradley products.”

In addition to their internationally recognized handbags, accessories and travel items, Vera Bradley Ala Moana Center will carry a complete range of Vera Bradley products, including rolling luggage, tableware, stationery, linens, rugs and men’s ties.

This is the 10th company store for Vera Bradley.  Eleven more are planned for 2008, including Bellevue Square, Santana Row, Watters Creek, and Bridgewater Commons.

The new store is located in the Nordstrom’s Concourse, next to Janie & Jack.  Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 am to 9 pm, Sunday 10 am to 7 pm. The store phone number is (808) 942-1757.
