URBAN TULIP, LLC LAUNCHES ITS T-SHIRT COLLECTION

A Collection of Artsy Pieces In Limited Quantity

New York, NY -- July 12, 2007 -- NYC based Urban Tulip, LLC designs, manufactures and markets its t-shirt collection for sophisticated and fashion conscious young women. The artsy and hand embellished t-shirts are produced in limited quantity. There is only 30 pieces available from each style.

The t-shirts are made in New York City. The collection is available for retail through company’s online store www.urbantulip.net . The collection is also available for wholesale upon request. Wholesale price points are at $24.99 to $29.99.

The company was established in April 2005 by Muge Yukseloglu who is a FIT graduate. The t-shirts are designed and hand accessorized by Muge Yukseloglu. The designer offers the combination of comfort and design. Combining casual-cut cotton t-shirts with unusual trim elements gives the garment its unique look and feel. The tulips are hand drawn by the designer and screen printed on a separate fabric which is later sewn-on to t-shirts. The designer's choice for trims are mostly muslin and tulle addition to hand drawn tulips.

Urban life style in NYC inspired the designer as well as her Turkish heritage. Ottomans held a special affection for tulips and therefore this flower became a symbol and even gave a period its name as “Tulip Reign”. When these elements were combined, the result was "Urban Tulip".
