“Me and Corey are pretty much the same person. We talk alike, we laugh alike, we throw alike, we run alike, we did everything”. These are the words of Kevin Lidel, Corey Lidle’s twin brother, after the tragic accident in New York City a few weeks ago.

Where does a “twin” turn, when they lose their best friend and confidant? Who would understand this loss?

The Twinless Twins support group is an organization made up of twins, who have lost their “other half”. It was founded in 1986 by Dr. Raymond Brandt, years after he lost his twin in 1949. Dr. Brandt struggled all those years for his identity. Was he still a twin? He discovered that “once a twin, always a twin” and through this joy, he immediately turned to helping other twinless twins.

Our mission is to provide a safe and compassionate community for twinless twins to experience healing, understanding, and a desire to help others cope with the loss of their twin. To provide information and insight for bereavement counselors and/or clergy who may need to counsel a twin who has lost their twin. No one truly understands, except another twin.  Since there are no boundaries to twinships (twins are the same everywhere), members gather in all countries.

To join us at this dinner, please get in touch with the contact person by Dec 10th, 2006.
