Honolulu, HI --December 13, 2007-- Announcing the formation of a new American political party. The Honest Elections Lottery Party is comprised of every day American citizens who have declared their independence from the corrupting influence of special interest money and its negative effect on our political process. Our concept is simple. Americans join our party and in the summer of 2008 we will draw a name at random from our membership and that person will be our write-in candidate for President of the United States.
There are 300 million people in this country, 185 million are registered to vote and 122 million voted in the last Presidential election. Over 120 million dollars were raised and spent on those election campaigns most of which came from Wall Street corporations and other special interests. So, who‘s interests do you think the politicians are working for, yours or the Fat Cat contributors?
 
Who hasn’t at one time or another said about one politician or another, “my dog could do a better job”; or, “we could have done just as well picking a name out of a hat”? That is what we are going to do! The Honest Elections Lottery Party is holding a Presidential candidate selection lottery. You could be the next President!
