The wizards of martial artistry

At the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center, martial arts students at every level learn from the best in the business.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL: With its custom designed martial arts courses and its experienced instructors, it is no wonder that the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center team is winning all of the awards on the grappling circuit.

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center, run by Popovitch and his father Jorge, has over 50 years of combined experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the founders were personally trained by the creators of the martial art, the famed Gracie family. The Popovitch team is infamous on the competitive martial arts circuit; they are currently ranked the number one grappling team in Florida. Team Popovitch has won four out of five major competitions in 2006.

Pablo Popovitch himself is a supreme martial arts expert. Trained from a young age, Popovitch rose rapidly to be ranked number one in the USA and number two in the world. He reached the finals of the most prestigious grappling tournament in the world in 2005, the highlight of a career that spans 20 years. Moreover, Popovitch was recently awarded Instructor of the Year by the North American Grappling Association.

Popovitch’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center differs from other institutes in its high level of program customization. Programs are designed for specific levels of experience and age. The Center has developed a systematic beginners program, guided by a training curriculum that Popovitch believes is the secret of their success.
