THE FIRST FREE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSPAPER LAUNCHES!

LONDON & NEW YORK -- August 22, 2007 -- Invincible Newspaper will be launching in early September in London and New York City.  The bi-weekly entertainment-focused newspaper will be the first of its kind to be launched simultaneously onto the UK & US markets.

INVINCIBLE is a rapidly growing media brand that is successfully building an international network comprised of magazine, radio, events and television properties. This new project is set to transform the free commuter newspaper market here in the UK & in the US by launching a free, bi-weekly, 100% entertainment-focused  newspaper on both sides of the Atlantic – a first for any  UK company.

Invincible Magazine, IMG’s current UK music & lifestyle title, will be released as a supplement to the new Invincible Newspaper on a bi-monthly basis.  
The tabloid-sized newspaper will average 24 pages.  The initial target distribution will be 300,000 to 400,000 across London and New York City, with plans to launch in Los Angeles and Miami within the following 12 months.  . With a target audience of 16 to 35, the newspaper content will consist of entertainment news, exclusive celebrity interviews, readers’ comment, real life stories, ,  film and TV listings, with soap and movie news, internship recruitment, auditions, castings and other media-related job vacancies.

The newspaper will be hitting the streets during the early part of September.  The paper will be available at selected underground/subway stations, coffee shops , colleges, music and video stores, * and on outdoor and indoor newspaper racks in selected bars, clubs, restaurants and hotels.

The new editions will be distributed twice weekly between 5pm and 7pm by an army of distributors.

The Invincible newspaper will not only target new readers but also heavily promote the next edition of the magazine supplement”.  

The research, conducted by London-based Market Research company, allowed potential readers to be explicit about what they would like to see in a new entertainment newspaper.“Lifestyle issues – especially health and wellbeing, and real stories– and financial issues, such as ways to save money, were most often requested by the respondents,” Duncombe says. “As a result, we intend to give our audience that and so much more. We’re fortunate, and extremely grateful, to have an existing readership and audience behind us, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure we present a complete, meaningful and useful bi-weekly news product.  They have ownership too, and as we like to say, and mean, ‘News is what our readers say it is’.
