Milton Keynes, England -- November 19, 2007 -- Father and son team, Milo and Chris McGrath, have penned an all-new action-packed story for Christmas, “South Pole Santa”, in which a rival Santa stakes a world-wrecking claim on the festive season.

Milo, aged 7, badgered his father, a screenwriting graduate and budding film and TV producer, to come up with a story they could write together, and Chris had long had an idea about a Santa from the South Pole who had an equal claim to the season, but for one reason or another only one Santa got the job!

 

Coming up with the nuts and bolts of the story was down to Milo, who had very specific ideas about what elements he wanted to be included. There aren’t many Christmas stories that can support a witch in the plot, but Milo was adamant the story should have one, so the Chimney Witch was born who fast becomes an ally of South Pole Santa, and together they set about demolishing Christmas for good. Only the courage of a young boy can stop them, but will he make it in time?
