"Over 150 people attended our first event and each left with at least three viable business leads," said Shane Sorrento, Founder of Apex Credit Solutions and Chair of The 40 Under 40 Leadership Group. "This demonstrates the power of our network concierge in conjunction with our industry color code system. We are prepared for an even larger turnout this time, and are pleased to be conducting a special raffle to benefit our local elementary school P.S. 29."
While the group plans to roll-out events geared specifically toward philanthropy, it was brought to their attention that P.S. 29 is in need of more funding to help complete the construction of its new library.
"Once I heard about the school, I brought it to the group's attention and they were more than willing to help," said Michael Piazza, Owner of Paving Arts, and member of the 40 Under 40 Leadership Group. "We'll now be able to benefit the business and local communities simultaneously which is what our group is all about."
Confirmed guests include elected officials, business owners, and media outlets. While the event is being hosted by the 40 Under 40 Leadership Group it is not exclusive to the under 40 crowd and professionals from every borough and age group are invited to attend.
"After seeing the extreme value and difference in the way the 40 Under 40 Leadership Group conducts a business networking event, I knew we had to play a bigger role in the next one," said Xiomara Ayala, Staten Island Branch Manager of Marathon Bank, one of the events co-sponsors. "We look forward to being a part of a great evening designed to bring like-minded business professionals together."

The event will take place on Thursday, June 28th from 6pm-9pm at Z-Two Lounge, located at 2925 Veterans Road West in Staten Island, New York. Tickets are $50 which includes tops shelf open bar as well as food service. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
