Xtreme Destinations (www.xtremedestinations.net ) is a company dedicated to providing scenic tours in extreme locations. It is the first time renowned explorer, conservationist and outfitter Larry Heathington has made his company’s services available to the general public. He is widely known for outfitting and guiding hundreds of Xtreme outings from Asia to Mexico.  Heathington has lead major expeditions for ambassadors, conservationists, editors, publishers, and sportsmen all over the globe; Asia, Africa, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, and most of the Western United States. Most of these clients either were, or still are, the leading wildlife conservationists in the world today.

Heathington says he created Xtreme Destinations because he “really wanted to bring back the type of travel that brought people into wild country and close to the animals, be it Big Horn sheep in Montana, Lions and Cape buffalo in Africa or Pronghorn Antelope in Arizona. So many guides don’t know the country intimately, they are just tourists themselves. I have spent years learning the country and can show my clients animals, cultures, and vistas they never knew existed at our designated tour locations.”

In addition to arranging and guiding custom travel Xtreme Destinations can also provide experts to conduct photographic workshops.   Heathington will personally be present on any wildlife related tours and will assist guests in locating and photographing wildlife in a safe and appropriate manner from Africa to Arizona.

Every tour will have a limited number of guests and will include the best amenities and accommodations available; some will be staged out of the finest lodges or hotels, while others will necessitate luxury tent camps for remote locations. Either way, your stay will be as comfortable as humanly possible, with the best meals and amenities that can be offered, whether it is experiencing the grandeur of a beautiful sunset over the Grand Canyon or watching wildlife in ancient Africa.
