Regina Pizza celebrates its 80th year with a new refined concept.

Medford, October 24, 2006:   Boston Restaurant Associates announced today that it will open its exciting new Regina Pizza concept this Thursday October 26th at Station Landing in Medford.  “Its an exciting way to celebrate our 80th year” said company president George Chapdelaine.  “This new full service Regina Pizza has been under development for some time.   In addition to our World Famous Regina Pizza we will have an expanded menu to include a contemporary line up of appetizers, fresh salads and many brick oven Italian dishes” continued Chapdelaine.  “It’s That Fresh” says it all.  “Everything we make is from scratch” said Chapdelaine.  

“This new Regina location features a beautiful build out of warm woods, wide expanses of glass and high ceilings.  Many items of memorabilia from the North End and Regina have been blended into this state of the art property” said Anthony Buccieri, Vice President of Operations.  “We have installed 4 large brick ovens to handle the volume of what we expect to be a very busy location” continued Buccieri.  The new Regina Pizza will also have a full service bar, the latest in TV and sound that will provide an ideal setting for friends and family to gather.   “In addition” Buccieri said “This new location will have areas that we can use for larger parties and special events”.  

The Station Landing location at Wellington Circle in Medford combines many new trends. Station Landing itself is a modern “life style center” being built by National Development of Newton. The area features retail and restaurants on the first level and modern apartments and condos on the upper floors.  The MBTA Wellington Station Transportation Center is adjacent to the property.  “We will continue to seek out these exciting Life Style Centers as one avenue of expansion for this new Regina Pizza concept” said Chapdelaine.

Boston Restaurant Associates operates three Polcari’s and thirteen Pizzeria Regina’s in New England, New Jersey and Florida. Including the Original Regina Pizza opened in 1926 in Boston’s North End.
