Dawson brings over two decades of franchise experience to the organization. He owned Glass Doctor Franchises in Nashville and Columbia for over 13 years as well as a Mr. Rooter franchise in Columbia, Tennessee for 4 years. Dawson was named President of Glass Doctor in 2004. Under his direction, the Glass Doctor team grew the franchise network from 120 to 200 throughout the US and Canada. He increased Glass Doctor's market presence with a complete relaunch of the company's website and online strategy to ensure more efficient and effective customer experience, as well as maximizing lead generation for the dealers in the network.
Throughout his career Mark Dawson has earned awards for high performance. As a Glass Doctor franchisee Dawson was named sales leader of the year for 500,000 population and below from 1998 to 2001, and in 2003 the Dwyer Group named him multi-concept owner of the year for successfully combining and running two brands. In the Glass Doctor corporate arena, he received the Don Dwyer Award for Excellence in 2006, a prestigious recognition that has only been awarded 17 times in the 30 year history of the Dwyer Group organization.
