RATED TEEN DECLARES WAR ON TEENAGE DRINKING!

It’s time to Party Sober...

SUNRISE, FL -- September 13, 2007 --- Appalled by the most recent statistics of Teenage drinking , Rated Teen has launched its “Party Sober” T shirt line.

Teen drinking statistics show that youth first try alcohol at 11 years of age for boys and 13 years of age for girls. The average age at which Americans begin drinking regularly is 15.9 years old. The three leading causes of death for 15- to 24-year-olds are automobile crashes, homicides and suicides -- alcohol is a leading factor in all three.

The brainchild of Gail Harris, single parent of a Tweenage son, Rated Teen is a premiere Greeting card (true expressions for teens, from teens) , Tshirts, and accessory company for Teens 13-19.  Rated Teen was created amid the controversy of Teen Idols such as Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan out Partying and Drinking irresponsibly.  

Parties are a very important part of socializing during the Teen years so with that in mind,   Rated Teen will host their first ever, “Party sober” event for Teens on Saturday, October 27th in South Florida.   Rated Teen has also announced that they will expand their “Party Sober” event for the Month of November to include Atlanta, Ga.  In addition, to the Party Sober events, Rated Teen also offers online resources for Teens on its website (www.ratedteenonline.com ).  

Rated Teen line of  Tshirts also promotes positive, yet hip expressions for Teens.   Due to the feedback from local teens, Rated Teen will add a forum for Teen topics to be discussed on a daily basis.  A blog was added to the site on 9/10/07.  Rated Teen Tshirts are being sold via fundraisers and on the company’s website.
