Procosi Joins the Aidmatrix Network (R)
September 02, 2008

DALLAS, TX -- Sept 02, 2008 -- The Aidmatrix Foundation Inc. today announced its partnership with Procosi, an association of nonprofits in Bolivia, to expand the supply chain for humanitarian relief across Bolivia. This partnership will help automate the donations that Procosi distributes to their network of non-profit partners through the use of the Aidmatrix Network®. Aidmatrix also gains another valuable partner in globally expanding its humanitarian relief supply chain.

Procosi has partnerships with more than 30 nonprofits in Bolivia, including hospitals and other charities. They support programs for health and nutrition, sexual education, and women’s education throughout Bolivia and reach some of the smallest villages in the country. For example, because of their education program with Save the Children in Cochabamba Bolivia, 50% less babies died in 2005. The Aidmatrix Network® technology and Procosi members will help accelerate the distribution of products and services to provide more humanitarian resources to areas of the country that have few to none.

Gary Shaye, a board member for Procosi, states his enthusiasm for the program: “The partnership between Procosi, which is the largest network of NGOs working in Bolivia, and Aidmatrix, a leader in supply chain and logistics management and emergency response, brings together two organizations committed to improving the quality of emergency response and humanitarian relief efforts to Bolivia. Procosi members reach over 80% of the Municipalities in Bolivia, and by joining forces with Aidmatrix, Procosi members will have access to the best technology for managing emergency and relief programs. As a long-term board member of Procosi, and as an individual who has had the opportunity to visit Aidmatrix staff in Dallas, I am convinced that this partnership will not only serve Bolivians at the time of greatest need, but will also serve to inform Aidmatrix about best practices in emergency response in real life situations.”

“Our partnership with Procosi promises to bring more humanitarian relief to Bolivians in need,” commented Gov. Scott McCallum, CEO and President of Aidmatrix. “We are working to expand the Aidmatrix Network in Latin America so that not only can we support efforts within individual countries, but also that those member countries can assist one another in times of need.”

Through this partnership, Procosi will also be prepared to build a stronger network of donors and manage these donations automatically. In addition, Aidmatrix brings more potential donors and recipients to the community through its partnerships with other leading disaster-, medical- and hunger-relief organizations.
