March 30, 2010 (MMD Newswire) -- The new Facebook group, "I Want To Grow Hemp Like George Washington", started earlier this week, remains to be one of the first groups of its kind, instructing Americas internet fiends about a plant that was so widely used in the early years of our nation, and so abruptly outlawed in the twentieth century due to the outlandish idea that it is relatively the same plant as marijuana. Though, both are in the cannabis family, hemp can in no way be smoked or injected for the purpose of intoxication by anyone. It would most likely give that person a headache than a high.

By teaching the Facebook masses about the uses of hemp, and how it can be extensively used to benefit this country's industry, more efforts will be used on legalization of hemp in the United States. Many will become personally involved, and in fact, outraged, over the illegality of hemp agriculture, that we may see a finale to the prohibition of sense in our lifetimes.

Grant Wallace, creator of the group, is also the owner of Jamullah Freedom Trading, Inc, and is also an advocate for cannabis reform. Another goal of the group is to locate a demand for hemp based products, and supply those people with what they desire, whether it be t-shirts, handbags, medicine, etc. The first of such products can be found on Jamullah's Freedom Gifts.

"I Want To Grow Hemp Like George Washington" is a new group to watch out for, and an exciting one to join if you understand the uses and benefits of the plant.
