March 15, 2010 (MMD Newswire) Los Angeles, CA -- Hard rock phenomenon Outlett, rocked the boat last weekend aboard the Historic Queen Mary for the Skinnie Magazine's Top 100 band event in Long Beach, CA.

The band took the stage with the raging power and brutality of a seasoned arena band, stunning the audience with their raw, in your face talent. Fronted by Chastity Ashley, Outlett rocked the mid-level with songs from their latest EP released in January.

The two-day event showcased some of the best Indie bands shaking the core of the music scene today. Outlett stood out from the norm with a high energy performance that started the second Chastity laid her hands on her now infamous djembe. Guitarists Hos and Joey lead a harmonious shred fest, while Brian (drums) and JJ (bass) offered up and audible assault one the senses. This latest performance by Outlett just proves that the band is ready to unleash their brand of hard-hitting rock on the world.

About Outlett:

The LA-based hard rock band, Outlett, is officially on its way to the mainstream. Especially, with their highly anticipated and January 2010 release of their new EP produced by Platinum Producer Toby Wright (Metallica, Three Doors Down, Alice In Chains). Chastity Ashley decided to be brutally honest lyrically sharing her fears, depth, vision, truth, hopes and desires which is fueled through positive aggression. Not only does she showcase a resonant vocal style that parallels Gwen Stefani in dynamics but also shows she is not just a voice but also a well skilled djembe player. The band has taken it to a whole new level showing that without a doubt they are a force to be reckoned with and are here to stay.
