In Her own words, Ms. Randall talks about her newest book with passion for what she has created. "I am a widowed senior and have experienced many of the difficulties the characters in my latest book are faced with so I write from first hand knowledge of the problems many of us are dealing with today. I have been more than disappointed to experience some of the bigotry and prejudices, which today's world is still dealing with. In some respects society has not progressed beyond the humiliating era of the segregation we experienced forty years ago. I hope this story will enlighten some people and help them to have a better understanding of the destruction their attitudes are creating for society as a whole. Anger, temper, love, passion, emotional abuse, lust, compassion, devotion and loyalty are all emotions which are within the readers grasp as they become involved in the issues which the created characters are dealing with in this newest book titled QUICKSAND."
