Sotomayor's rise to the highest court in the land is a truly inspirational tale. Because of this, it is a perfect fit for Bluewater Productions' Female Force series of biographical comics.
In April, Bluewater will ship Female Force: Sonia Sotomayor, a 32-page comic, to retailers across the country. This will give readers a chance to join writer Robert Schnakenberg and artist Cesar Feliciano as they trace Sotomayor's journey from the Bronx to the Supreme Court.

Previous issues have profiled Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, talk show giant Oprah Winfrey, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer. The series is one of Bluewater's most successful, with several issues, including one focusing on First Lady Michelle Obama, selling out of multiple print runs.
