Pennsylvania’s Fourth Statewide Summit for volunteer watershed monitors May 4-5, 2007Join us as we Celebrate 10 years of success for Watershed Volunteer Monitors. The deadline is fast approaching for Pennsylvania’s Fourth Statewide Summit for all volunteer watershed monitors. Date of Summit: May 4-5, 2007 at the Eisenhower Conference Center in Gettysburg, PA. A broad array of State organizations have worked together to plan this event. The Department of Environmental Protection, the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement, Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Delaware River Keepers, Stroud Water Research Center, and the Alliance for Aquatic Resource Monitoring invite you to choose from the following sessions: Restoration and Protection; Volunteer Program Management and Sustainability; Monitoring Nets and Boats; and finally Making Monitoring Matter: Government 101 Full 2-day conference fee is $75. One day fee is: $40. First come, first serve for the Early Bird Registration on rooms at the Eisenhower at $28/person double occupancy. There is a cost break for early registration by April 10, 2007.
