(TORONTO, April 21, 2008) – Octopz Inc. is pleased to announce that it has entered into a value-added partnership with Transcontinental, the largest printer in Canada and sixth-largest in North America, to deliver online collaboration software that will allow Transcontinental and its clients to plan and review creative projects online, using fully integrated text, voice and video capabilities.
Octopz, which is ideally suited to the unique needs of media and creative professionals, enables up to five people to synchronously view and markup an unprecedented range of documents including high resolution photos and graphics, and digital media such as video. Participants communicate via built-in text, voice and video chat, and their work, including markup and notes, is stored securely, allowing them to review and revise projects individually whenever it’s convenient, wherever they are, 24/7.
These capabilities will allow Transcontinental to offer customers a new tool that helps streamline the creative development and review process resulting in cost efficiencies and faster time to market.
