“From Swing to Rock, Do Your Thing”
New Year’s Eve Party on the Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet
Celebrate the beginning of a new year on the decks of a historic aircraft carrier. The USS Hornet Museum hosts the ultimate New Year’s Eve Party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Enjoy an action-packed evening while dancing to the timeless music performed by David Martin’s House Party.

Party-goers will experience a unique evening aboard the USS Hornet complete with live music, party favors, and midnight countdown. David Martin’s House Party provides a show that is fun and creative with spectacular costumes, interactive antics, and imaginative choreography. There will be something for everybody as the band plays a mixture of the best dance tunes from swing to rock. The band will tailor their show for all generations in one action-packed evening: from sultry jazz to swing, pop, disco, and rock sensations.
David Martin's House Party is a high energy dance band comprised of 8 Musicians and 2 Character Dancers. They have been doing special events for over 17 years in Northern California and all over the U.S., including headliner shows in Reno/Tahoe. The “all-star” ensemble has gained an extremely devoted following of fans because of their high-energy performances and incredible musical variety. The talented band members have individually performed with the Steve Miller Band, Todd Rundgren, The Tubes, Starship, and The Band. Tickets prices are $48 for general admission, $65 for reserved seating, and $95 for premium reserved seating. All tickets include party favors. Food and beverages can be purchased separately.

About the USS Hornet Museum
A registered State and National Historic Landmark, the aircraft carrier USS Hornet is open daily for public tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Areas of interest include the flight deck, hangar bays, engine room, flight operations, captain’s bridge, sick bay, ready rooms, and combat information center. Exhibits include an Apollo Moon Mission display and more than a dozen aircraft ranging from WWII vintage to modern era. Visitors can get a close look at a TBM Avenger, an F-14 Tomcat, and an authentic Apollo space capsule. Regular museum admission is $6-$14 and there is ample free parking across from the pier.
The USS Hornet is permanently docked in Alameda and has become a popular destination for special events. The ship is one of the Bay Area’s most unique venues with its sweeping views of the Bay, central location, convenient parking, and reputation for hosting unforgettable parties.
