New Website Launches to Honor America's Defenders

A new online tool to promote American Troop support for military supporters, members, and veterans launches on Monday, August 6th, 2007.

One of very few, YellowRibbonEvents.org will provide an online community to promote support, as well as provide a forum for the organization of military related events across the country. The site includes:

•    A forum for event planners to communicate, current and veteran soldiers to share their military stories, as well as a reunion section to get back in touch with lost service friends.

•    A military discount directory for businesses to list discounts that may be offered to members of the armed forces to be searched by a number of criteria.

•    An events calendar for people to post their organized military events.

•    A photo gallery to allow users to upload photos from events as well as photos from soldiers across the world.

•    User home pages to allow individuals and groups to host a 5 page website on the website.

•    And Much More!

Shortly after launch, YellowRibbonEvents.org plans on launching a Classified Ads section, where military members can buy and sell old military supplies, and event planners can buy and sell used event supplies. Additionally the site plans on rolling out an entire clothing line of Support the Troops themed items, and marketing material to be downloaded and used at military events across the country.
