New Spy Technology allows listening of your conversations when your phone is switched off * Technology availabe only for Law Enforcement. * Software based technology requires phyiscal access to device. * Technology can be managed remotely once installed. * Works on GSM phones only.
London, July 31, 2007. A new software based technology termed, Phone Dead, developed by www.spy-phone.com has been released which allows Law Enforcement agencies to listen room conversations even when a phone is switched off. It takes less than 10 seconds to configure a phone for such monitoring which can be then managed remotely by sending an SMS.
The converted phone will only answer calls from a specified phone number and answer it when the phone is in switched off or "Phone Dead" mode. An agency can send a silent SMS to the converted phone to activate, deactivate or change the pre-defined number without any alert messages on the phone. Another noticeable feature of this technology is that calls coming from other numbers will be able to listen to a phone switched off message so that there is no suspicion to a normal caller.
This technology is high end, but is not magical. Installation requires physical access to the device, so this is not a mass market product but has its niche uses. The company that developed the software (spy-phone.com) declined to discuss remote installation processes by sending the software as a SMS as they are strictly meant for law enforcement.
This technology can work anywhere in the world where GSM networks are supported and is 100% remotely managed.
www.spy-phone.com develops specialized products for law enforcement agencies, some of which are available for viewing on their website.
