Growing Chain of Family Food and Fun Centers Allows Guests to Choose Their Mascot

Dallas, TX – October 18, 2007 – iT’Z, a restaurant and entertainment destination for families, today announced that they would put the decision of what their new mascot will be in the hands of their guests.  Voting will commence in iT’Z two locations, iTZ Houston and iT’Z Albuquerque on Saturday, October 20.  In addition, the company will open online voting to residents of Texas, New Mexico and Colorado at www.itzusa.com
 
“Who knows better what mascot can represent our company best than the families who enjoy our concept?” says Diane Hansen, Director of Marketing and Communications.  Guests will be asked to vote on the type of animal and the name of the family entertainment center’s new mascot.

The Colorado Springs location is slated to open in early 2008.  But potential guests will still be allowed to vote online at www.itzusa.com/colorado .  “When the families in Colorado go to iT’Z for the first time, we want them to feel like they, too, had a hand in selecting our new mascot” says Hansen.  “We can’t wait to see the results.”

To incent guests to vote, iT’Z is setting up voting kiosks and is giving away an Ultimate Birthday Party at each location.    Guests and future guests can vote on location or online at www.itzusa.com from October 20 until November 5.  

iT’Z operates locations in Houston and Albuquerque and has aggressive expansion plans including locations throughout the country. iT’Z Family Food and Fun centers range in size from 45,000 to 70,000 square feet and provide high-quality food, themed dining rooms, video games, amusement rides, bowling and party facilities.
