Switchbulb is an accent decorating switch that can be used all year long, anytime and anywhere miniature, LED, faceted, rice or novelty seasonal lights are used. To accommodate the 2 different socket sizes, Switchbulbs unique adapter is located at the base.  The ease of the red push button feature was designed for people with bad vision to see it and for people suffering with arthritis in mind. The inventors Vito Ingrassia and Jeanine Carroccio came up with the idea, because they enjoy decorating all year.  They were tired of bending down and moving furniture to disconnect strands of decorative lights.  They also knew it wasn’t safe to pull a light from the socket to turn the lights off.  In creating the product they kept in mind that decorating should be accessible for all people, young, old, injured and handicapped.  With a Universal Design Swithcbulb was created, designed, patented and trademarked.
