The Plunge, a story of strength, Power, tradition, and the will to live portrays the story of a young immigrant girl from Nigeria who goes to America to reunite with her lover.

Living in a world of strict rules and traditions, Nma, A young female waiting for years in Nigeria for her husband to pay her way to the Americas, is finally able to be reunited with her husband. After waiting several years she got her chance to become a full wife, though her lover, Eze was acting strange and not following the traditions of their home and over time getting worse with his mysterious habits and activities.  His attitude towards Nma had changed. With suspicion in the air, Nma became aware of an adulterous act. Through sheer strength, intuition and Will to survive Nma was able to overcome her obstacles and succeed.

About the Author:
Fidelia Agwumezie is a former teacher, loving and caring mother of one and a dedicated Social Worker at the DC Child and Family Services Agency for the past six years. Fidelia works with families and children in foster care and has made critical decisions that affect others' lives on a daily basis.  Fidelia Agwumezie earned a masters degree from the Howard University School of Social Work.
