January 25, 2007 -- The Willows Yoga in Encinitas is an Anusara center grounded by "celebration of the heart," an uplifting philosophy which seeks the good in all people and all things. Students of all abilities and yoga experience are honored for their unique differences, limitations, and talents, an elegant system of alignment principles and non-dualist philosophy. Founded by John Friend in 1997, Anusara Yoga® is a powerful hatha yoga system that unifies a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic Goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment™.
At the core of the The Willows Yoga, Sherry Schreck, Myriam Machado and Dennis Frate are highly trained teachers, who recognize that yoga can be life-affirming and fun-loving, too.
