Move over Facebook and YouTube because from January 1st there's a new kid on the block. Described as a fusion of the two, MayContainNuts.com is a brand new community website aimed at everyone into extreme sports.

MayContainNuts.com offers user profiles, videos, chatrooms, a voting system, blog and forum as well as its own internal messaging system and online shop. Personal videos are uploaded and viewed on the video system the same way as YouTube which is also powered by Googles YouTube. The site will also offer a voting and comment system.

The website has been set up to provide the perfect place to meet new friends. It incorporates a send-system where you can ‘poke’ your friends or send them a ‘high five’, if you are looking for a partner, you can send those you are interested in a ‘wink’ or for an added bit of fun you can even 'Throw a Moose' or send a ‘slap’.

MayContainNuts.com features a blog which will be used to give people updates and information about the site. In addition there is a forum where people can leave comments or questions that other users can read and leave a reply. Perhaps a skydiver may want to know if a Florida drop zone is worth visiting, or maybe a user wishes to find out where to buy a Kayak in Australia. Whatever the question, the MayContainNuts.com forum will be the place to find your answer. 

 
As the site progresses it is planned to have a chat room for each sport. This will then have a search system to narrow the field so you will be shown only ‘Skiers’ from ‘Austria’, or ‘Paramotorists’ in the ‘UK’ and so on. The idea is to make the whole sports world, especially the extreme sports world, smaller and closer together.

The website also features its own online shop selling a variety of items, a high percentage of which are latest design clothing. All of the items have a cool printed design relating to various extreme sports. Users who have created a profile can even upload their own T-shirt designs which can then be voted on by other users, the best ones will be added to the extensive range which has been created by the company's own design team.

The website will be spearheaded by its very own regular cartoon strip which features a cool bunch of eleven ‘fruit and nut’ characters taking part in a range of extreme sports.  Waly the Walnut and Baz the Brazil Nut represent the main characters while the Dried Fruit are their adversaries. As the website is rolled-out all the characters will be animated.

Each character has been created by the highly regarded Tania Walker of Steelwalker Studios who has personally designed, inked and colored the eye-catching bunch. Her previous credits include work on a number of major productions including Walt Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. The characters will also have their own soft toy versions which look sure to become ‘must have’ collector pieces amongst users of the site.

For those who love extreme sports or any sport for that matter MayContainNuts.com is the website for you. It is the perfect place to meet likewise friends, find fun partners, and embrace everything that is extreme sports.

Future plans for MayContainNuts.com include a video game and a board game, details of which will be released early next year. Plans are also being drawn up for the release of two sister sites which are; MayContainBalls.com, this will cover main stream sports such as Football, Baseball, etc. And MayContainRubber.com which will cover motor sports such as Nascar, Formular1, World Superbikes, etc.
