Rebecca Nelson, mother of two girls, invented Snap Cozy™ Crib Blankets between diaper changes, feedings and naptime. Frustrated by dressing her firstborn in several layers of clothing and sleep sacks before bed, and also afraid to use loose blankets in the crib, she set forth to create a blanket that would provide warmth and comfort to her baby while giving her peace of mind that she was safe. Because Rebecca didn’t know how to sew, she bought fabric from the local craft store and pinned together her vision of what would be the perfect baby blanket. The Snap Cozy™ Crib Blanket has a unique "stay-put" design that secures to any standard crib. The blanket is one piece that consists of two layers: a bottom layer that baby lies on and a top blanket layer that covers baby. Baby is placed on her back (in the supine sleeping position*) onto the bottom layer, while the top blanket layer is used to cover baby up to the chest, tucked snuggly underneath baby’s arms. Durability-tested snaps are located on each side of the blanket so that it stays put. The roomy design allows baby to have ample wiggle room without the blanket shifting off. A protective safety seam on the foot-end of the blanket assures that babies won't scoot their heads underneath the top blanket. Adjustable straps are provided so the blanket can adjust from newborn on up to 12 months. All Snap Cozy™ Crib Blankets are made in the USA in order to maintain the highest of quality.
