MCALESTER, Okla. (MMD Newswire) September 1, 2010 -- On his deathbed, an old man decided to recount the story of his life and actions in INCUBUS: The Untold Story of the Under-Government by Mister Duke.
Joe is not any ordinary senior citizen, having spent spent five decades as a covert operative for underground agencies within the United States government. His account reveals the story of how he and his cohorts changed the history of the 20th century. INCUBUS aims to explain questions such as "Why did the United States, England and other Western countries accept Adolf Hitler as the leader for Germany during the failing days of the Weimer Republic?" and "How and why did the United States become embroiled with the Asian conflicts of Korea and Vietnam?"
What events really change history? In this new novel, Joe's confession begins to explain how a series of decisions made by the government created conspiracy, terror and guilt. Using illustrations from history, Joe seeks to demonstrate how the American government and the history of the 20th century were changed by one newly appointed secretary of state as he attempted to close an illegal agency.
Desiring to reveal historical events from a viewpoint that he believes few have even imagined, Mister Duke hopes that INCUBUS will invite the citizens of America, and of the world, to develop a new awareness of how the events that shaped the century may also shape the future.
INCUBUS: The Untold Story of the Under-Government is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
