(Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas) -- After 10 years in the business, Realtor/Broker Sylvie Broussard is excited to announce the launch of Broussard Realty, an independent brokerage firm serving the needs of buyers and sellers throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Prior to establishing her own brokerage Broussard was an award-winning agent at RE/MAX Signature Properties, and she began her real estate career with Ebby Halliday Realtors.
“I was fortunate to begin my real estate career with such a reputable company. I learned so much from Ebby over the eight years, and the depth of the experience I gained gave me a solid professional foundation. Ebby gave me the education that I needed, the kind of education that you cannot acquire without working with the best people in the industry.” Broussard is a firm believer in education, and dedicates much of her free time to continuing education and training opportunities to stay on the cutting edge.
“I am always striving to better educate myself and keep on the forefront of this ever-changing industry,” she says. But her support of education transcends her work and also extends into the communities she serves. “I am a huge school supporter,” Broussard explains. “Whatever they need or want, I try to find ways to generate support or raise donations.” A proud cancer survivor who wakes up everyday feeling grateful and glad to be alive, Broussard derives her greatest pleasure from sharing her valuable time, energy, and resources to help others. She is also a regular church and charity volunteer. “Many times I will give a percentage of my transaction fees to school sports teams, local charities, or other organizations. I take pride in these things.” Broussard has years of experience in a wide range of real estate specialties including relocation, new construction, and luxury homes. She works with both buyer and seller clients in many developments and neighborhoods such as Flower Mound, Lewisville, Castle Hills, Coppell, Lantana, Carrollton, Denton, Corinth, Grapevine, and Colleyville. Castle Hills is her primary focus, and she is on the Castle Hills Realtor Advisory Board. But Broussard firmly resists attempts to limit or confine her, when it comes to practicing real estate.
“I have clients from across the spectrum, and even work with relocation customers from across the entire USA.” she explains. “I don’t think people are impressed with a Realtor’s sales production figures, awards, and high-priced listings. Most buyers and sellers just want to know that you will be there when they need you, that you have integrity and honesty, and that you are a good communicator and a skillful negotiator. I’m a woman who survived cancer, and I mainly want to be known as down to earth and approachable.”
Now that she can focus on her own brokerage, Broussard will get her wish and be even more able to personally cater to the needs of her clients and continue to grow her business, one satisfied customer at a time. What Broussard Realty stands for, she says, is professional care from beginning to end.
“I never hand my clients off to others, not even for a minute. I see them through the entire process, all the way to closing, and then follow up with them afterwards to offer any assistance I possibly can.”
Broussard is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors, and was a 2007 Top Producer of the RE/MAX Central Alliance, a regional association of RE/MAX real estate professionals.
