The Balinese excel in handcrafting products for export, many of which are woven.  This process comes naturally to them, providing employment while also helping to keep their sacred island green!  

 

Susan Mango supplies hundreds of boutiques with unique, hand crafted sandals and handbags.  The designer, Susan Connett, spends several months each year in Bali working on new designs and overseeing production.  She also volunteers while she is there and contributes to educational programs.
