Las Vegas breeds life into the iPhone Las Vegas prepares to introduce the next level of technology with the worlds greatest entertainers
August 1st, Las Vegas, Nevada - - Now that you have purchased or preordered you iPhone (Released on June 29th with approximately 500,000 units sold to date worldwide), the latest iPod or similar gadgetry, what’s next? Well, a team of marketing specialist, technological innovators and investors believe that they have the answer almost a year and a half earlier than others has estimated.
The largest event ever held in the history of technology and broad casting, apart form television, is scheduled to launch in October, 2007. They are calling it “The World Party presents…” or simply The World Party.
Imagine being able to enjoy a live performance of artists like Beyonce, Justin Timberlake or Shakira through your iPhone, iPod or iBook exclusively over the Internet. In October this is what can be expected.
“This is an excited time for us,” stated Troy White of Vegas Ballers, one of the leading marketing companies within this team of idealists. “Its like watching history in the making. But unlike visionaries of our past, we are fully aware. We had a number of variables to consider – technology, connectivity and broadcasting feasibility. And the closer that we get, [Las] Vegas seems only fitting for an event of this magnitude.”
Vegas Ballers has marketed and promoted events with major artist and labels, All Star weekend, the Super Bowl and the WBC and is one of the leading forces behind this monumental event.
Mr. White added, “For one day, the world will celebrate life and technology together on one common platform exclusively using the likes of cell phones, PDAs, laptops and desktop computers. The artists are as excited as we are.”
Until recently the team has been keeping the idea quite. But with the launching of Apple’s, iPhone and a number of similar online/telephony appliances, the convergence of entertainment, telecommunications, information and commerce has been revealed on the immediate horizon. Many are describing the iPhone as the final piece of the puzzle bringing all of these mediums together. With emerging cellular technologies such as 3G, Edge and WiMax along with high speed or broadband public access points (WiFi–Hotspots), the potential is immeasurable.
The final solution is still being kept under wraps. But it is believed that two major partnerships are on the brink of being established. These deals would address broadband and cellular distribution forming a streamlined and less resource intensive process for virtual acquisition, reporting and management. Official announcement are expected sometime this week with global marketing execution beginning the lst week in August 2007.
Amim Green of Worldwide Party Promotions described the concept as “… the ultimate solution. It never fails. Just as you and a group of friends are preparing to enjoy the fight on pay-per-view, something needs to be retrieved from the store. By optimally utilizing today’s technologies in what we are establishing these events would be enjoyed at home and while picking up those last few items in the local store without interruption.” He went on to say, “its about convenience. From the desktop connected to the 42 inch plasma and surround sound audio system to the 3 ½ inch screen on your blackberry, its’s the Internet is suppose to be.”
“The World Party presents…” is being targeted for October 2007 and, while still in the planning faze, consider to be the event of the decade. Many industry leaders are paying close attention to Las Vegas for what could be the beginning of the new age. An executive of one of the companies on looking stated, “if they pull this off, the group could own the Internet. Every company out there with content will be beating down there doors expecting similar results by association. The recent Live Earth concert held earlier this month had an estimated 2 billion viewers across the globe. By accomplishing a task like this, the solution would be invaluable.”
