FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Locals to Get First Dibs on Coveted Summer Surf Camp Dates and a Bro Deal!
Carlsbad, CA -- April 12, 2007 -- Pat Weber, founder, owner and head coach of the San Diego Surfing Academy LLC, announced today that SDSA will be hosting a Locals Open House on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Deep discount opportunities will be the order of the day, RAIN or SHINE, at their year-round surf camp located at the north end of South Carlsbad State Beach. For a limited time, two overnight or day campers can participate for the price of one!
View the spectacular oceanfront surf camp premises and meet Pat Weber personally. His enthusiastic staff of instructors will be on hand for an expression session (it's more like an artistic gathering of the tribe than a contest) and it's also business as usual with lessons coming and going. This is a wonderful opportunity to see SDSA in action! Surprise surfing luminaries, friends, and alumni will be dropping by throughout the day. Festivities start around 10am (surfing comes first) and go to 4pm. There will be a free weenie roast. Do you know who Tubesteak is? They can tell you! Also in store, a surf gear garage sale, free demos, and free giveaways from surfing companies.
At SDSA Surf Camp, only fourteen overnight guests and fourteen day campers are permitted at any given time emphasizing safety, personal attention, and quality instruction/supervision over quantity. Prime time for surf camp is when the kids are out of school and it does sell out! Grown ups be warned, you're going to want to come with or instead of your kids! As a matter of fact, some camps are for grown ups only. Representatives will be on hand showcasing products from three major soft surfboard companies, Doyle, INT, and GSL. O'Neill wetsuits will be there and expect to see Cobian sandals, Volition clothing, Stay Covered surf accessories. Rub shoulders with Encinitas Surfboards, Longboard Grotto, Sun Diego, and other local surfshops. Their friends at the Belly Up Tavern, Karl Strauss Brewery, Jimmy Mac Restaurant, and Yogis Sports Bar will be dropping by, too! "We have become very popular since our first surfing lesson in the summer of 1995 and it's only right that the locals get first crack at this phenomenal oceanfront location with a sweet set-up and staff that is internationally acclaimed as the best you can get. It's in their own backyard! We have other discount programs, like scholarships for good grades, but you can't beat the two for one we are offering at this event!" Weber exclaimed. SDSA Surf Camp is located one half mile south of Palomar Airport Road on the Coast Highway AKA Carlsbad Blvd. South. There are seventy-three free parking spaces starting at Lifeguard Tower 28. For overflow parking proceed south to closest cross street Island Way and take a left to park on Surfside Lane in front of SeaPointe Resort or in the residential neighborhood. Says Weber, "We've got the goods and you're invited to check it out the first Sunday after Easter! See you April 15!" The End Media Contact:Pat Weber San Diego Surfing Academy LLC 800.447.SURF(7873)
