SALT LAKE CITY, Ut- The Little Playdates Company announces their DVD, Little Friends, has been awarded the 2007 Video of the Year Award by Creative Child Magazine™.  This follows news that Little Adventurers, their second title, has been featured in Parenting Magazine™'s 'BABY MUST HAVES' book for 2007.  Collectively the series has won 10 internationally recognized awards and continues to garner a growing number of endorsements from parents and clinicians.   

Parents of autistic children have reported significant positive behavioral responses to the series, which has since received the endorsement of Wendy Fournier, the National Autism Association's (NAA) President: "Little Playdates videos are a wonderful learning tool for children with developmental disabilities.  They are a perfect combination of favorite songs and images of adorable children modeling appropriate play skills...".  

Co-creator JoAnne Pettry: “When parents of autistic children started to tell us how much their children enjoyed and responded to our videos we thought it made perfect sense to donate videos to these associations.  That was almost a year ago, and now with the series' popularity growing we have the opportunity to make a greater difference.”

Little Playdates has announced that it will be furthering donations to the NAA to increase awareness and support for research.  The company will deliver a complimentary copy of Little Friends to the first 250 individuals that donate through a special link on NAA's site:
