HOUSTON, Texas (MMD Newswire) January 26, 2012 -- The everyday lives of modern Muslims no longer need to remain in total mystery. Life of a Foreign Man provides readers an insightful look at a family in Morocco. Abdessamad Ait Ali's new novel follows a fictitious character named Ayadi. The simple, religious, and hardworking father uproots his mother, wife, and children and leads them to an unfamiliar place.

Life of a Foreign Man touches on many aspects and challenges of life, from experiencing births and deaths of loved ones, to discovering special aptitudes. Along the way, Ayadi and his family live according to their religion with patience and no compromises, from the simple life in the countryside to the challenging and convoluted city life. The title was inspired by the Muslim prophet, who said Islam started foreign and would be again.

The novel has a main goal to educate some Muslims about their religion and other people, from different religious backgrounds, about Islam. The novel introduces Islam and its basic principles throughout the story of Ayadi and his family.
