Lee County provides newcomers and tourists a fun way to get around!

Ft. Myers, FL.– Can a map be entertaining as well as informative?

YES– and Lee County’s getting one!

You have seen them ...the maps that look more like illustrations, with colorful topography and cartoon drawings of area attractions, landmarks and businesses.

Lee County’s 2007 Official Cartoon Map is printed in full color on 24 by 36 inches glossy paper. 25,000 maps will be given out, free of charge, by Lee County, local hotels and chambers to newcomers, tourists and visitors in 2007.

Al Jabaly, the project manager, stated: “visitors find this type of map irresistible. It attracts attention and it’s just fun to look at. Importantly, it provides one unique way to illustrate the points of interest our area has to offer.”

One side of the full color glossy map will feature the entire geographic area of Lee County and the other side will feature maps of the cities of Ft Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres and the beaches!

Mr. Jabaly said that the 2007 cartoon map, supported by local advertising, will become a valuable tourist promotional tool for the County and the participating businesses.

Businesses that want to promote themselves on this 2007 Official Cartoon Map of Lee County should contact Al Jabaly at 1-888-899-3190 for a free presentation!
