More than 30 contestants will compete for the chance to represent the USA at the Karaoke World Championships Karaoke Competition in Finland November 28- December 1, 2012. Competitors previously qualified at local, state, and regional competitions as well as online. Karaoke singers will arrive from destinations as far away as Oregon, California and Texas, while some will drive from Wisconsin, Illinois, Virginia, New Jersey and point in between.
Last year the USA champions were a huge success. Cassandra Jopp was the world female champion and Josh Scholl finished in the top ten men. KWCUSA hopes to find the next world champions to bring back the gold. One Male and One Female will win the chance for Hotel and Airfare to Finland along with $1,000 cash.
