Laura was raised in Erie, PA, attending Erie Day School and McDowell High School. Because you simply can’t stop there, she attended the Pennsylvania State University’s main campus where she graduated in 1993 with distinction and with honors, receiving a B.A. in Political Science. Laura lived in Steamboat Springs, CO for 13 years becoming, among other things, an absolute expert at snow removal and winter driving, though she cares for neither. She now lives in Clifton, VA (a.k.a. a suburb of Fairfax, VA) and finds that motherhood is her best adventure yet, not to mention the best education for her heart. She lives her life with passion!
