Everyone loves to win a prize. Prize Television is a soon to be launched multi-channel satellite television network with a program line up unlike any other. Each program is a mini-soap opera drama lasting just one minute containing clues to a question flashed on the screen at the end of the sixty second screening. Viewers have the opportunity of winning an instant prize by simply sending a cell phone text message to the programmer with the correct answer.
All Prize Television Channels are broadcast Free to Air on the Mabuhay Satellite Corporation Agila2 satellite across the Asia-Pacific region. Prize Television will provide services including mini-soap opera drama script development with professionally crafted content which can be used to support multiple screenings with different text overlays containing different questions. The content of these programs is designed to provide viewers with an enduring memory of the programmer’s product or service without ‘in your face’ advertising.
The new channel can provide programmers with program production using experienced television directors; program post production by editors skilled in this type of programming; program hosting and scheduling on digital video servers
The planned channel will be broadcast from Hawaii Pacific Teleport to the Agila2 satellite with a footprint covering the Asia Pacific Region and offer program production and broadcasting at prices which are expected to be ‘down in the noise’ budgets for the targeted travel industry customers including airlines and hotel chains.
Program development and production will be from $10,000 per minute programming ‘in the can’. Each one minute program has a life of 10 broadcasts with different text questions for each broadcast. Satellite broadcasts to the Asia-Pacific region on Prize Television channel start from $10 per minute with minimum 100 minute broadcasts per month.
