Delisia LeMon's Biography: Delisia's life is a testimony that all things are possible if you believe and allow God to lead the way. Delisia's experiences demonstrate that you can use your past for instruction and your future for construction and build a better life for you and yours. She once had low self-esteem, as a result of physical and mental abuse as a child. She later experienced abuse as an adult and a painful divorce. She has been unemployed, homeless and in the depths of depression emotionally. Through changing her mindset and faith in God she has risen above her previous limiting circumstances. She says, "When I began to believe I deserved God's best things began to change. I have gone from being homeless to being a homeowner". Through God's grace her focus has shifted from herself to God and being a blessing to others. "We are all blessed to be a blessing & I've learned character is not what a person says but what they do & how they live their lives" One of her guiding Scriptures is Isaiah 40:31. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint". Delisia parallels her victorious life to an eagle and believes she faced her storms to define her character and develop the strength to soar into her destiny. She states, "Eagles soar high; they rise above all storms and live according to purpose". Delisia earned a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and attended graduate school at California State University of The Bay Area. Delisia has several years experience as a Human Resources Professional. She specializes in talent management and employee development within a leading Fortune 500 organization. Delisia's inspiration to start this foundation was through her own struggles of keeping her daughter in private school and wanted to create a non profit to be a blessing to other parents in the same situation.
