Stockton, California -- The Discovery Group announced today the opening of a new development on the California Delta. On Saturday May, 17th 2008 Mariner Estates will open to the public with an incentive plan that has something for everyone.
The development consists of 62 town homes; all are 3 story homes which include private elevators in each unit. With each unit the buyer receives a deeded boat dock where they can boat to anywhere in the world. The Delta has over 1,000 miles of waterways for owners to enjoy; they can even sail out to the Golden Gate Bridge.
The amenities are numerous and include; a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, private elevators, and a dock with each home and coming soon a new golf course!
What’s really exciting are the incentives being offered.
Mariner Estates has partnered with world famous NORDIC boats. A buyer can receive a new Nordic, a new car or 2 wave runners!
Senior partner of The Discovery Group Randy Zahodne said,”The value in these units is incredible and the incentives mark new territory for builders. If you have a waterfront home why not have a boat? I suppose we’re opening a can of worms here, I suppose if we do an airpark community we will have to get people a plane.”
The development which was slated to sell for over 900k each is now priced in the mid-$600’s. The clients looking at the homes are primarily 2nd home buyers. They know there will be very few Delta communities going forward due the lack of land.
The Discovery Group based in Stockton California works for small to mid range builders. They do the legwork on real estate developments. Marketing , website development, staffing the sales office and managing the loans. With the current downtrend in real estate many builders are using The Discovery Group rather than run everything themselves along with the added overhead .
