HOLY SITE FOR SALE
Privately held pilgrimage site is being sold to finance a “higher calling”

Toledo, WA. -- July 25, 2007 -- Resurrection Tree Ranch, a historic ranch and holy site, is being offered up for sale. The Peterson family, owners of the ranch in Lewis County, Washington, are selling the site to finance the “Campaign for Energy Independence,” an initiative they are spearheading to wean America off of foreign energy by 2016.

“People have been coming by to see the Resurrection Tree for years.  Some know of its existence beforehand and others feel compelled to drive down this old country road and find themselves knocking on the door.  Everyone has a different personal experience.  We’ve had many moving scenes happen here as people reach out to be healed and inspired” said Gail Peterson.

The owners of Resurrection Tree Ranch are selling it to fund what they say is their calling; a Campaign for Energy Independence. “There is no issue that will decide our country’s future more than energy. Energy affects: foreign policy, the environment, security, architecture, urban planning, productivity, personal mobility, comfort, and so much more. We are at a crossroads in time. Will America continue to lead the world or will we suffer the painful fall of every other world power before us?” said Ben Peterson. For details visit the website www.energy2016.com

The family will be conducting the sale as an auction throughout the month of August. Offers will be reviewed and a new owner will be announced in the latter half of the month. “Once prospective buyers visit this place, I fully expect the ranch site could fetch in the neighborhood of $500,000,” says Phil Lydic, a real estate expert and retired minister.

During the month of August the owners are opening the ranch for limited public viewing. They want to encourage more people to experience healing and love as expressed by Cathy Reynolds, a recent visitor to the site. “The Resurrection Tree is a symbol of life’s adversity and the possibility of rebirth with just belief and faith.  It should have died but it didn’t.  When I was praying by the tree about all of the hard times that have fallen on me, I felt a warm sense of love and peace. I felt Gods presence and He was saying that I too will be healed”

Resurrection Tree Ranch is a privately held historic frontier ranch featuring the resplendent Resurrection Tree, an ancient oak that has withstood lighting strikes, time, man and gravity to flourish and inspire all who see it. Resurrectiontree.com for details.
