The national NAACP warns us that inequality in many important areas including education; economics and health have never disappeared. A recent surfacing of disturbing employment discrimination claims along with inequality in schools and our criminal justice system prove the NAACP report that racial disparities are actually growing.

The NAACP is calling for immediate attention to address the fabric of our American culture that supports difference in pay and promotion for African Americans, unfair termination rates and retaliation against civil rights supporters.

To protect the civil liberties of everyone who lives and works in this country, you are encouraged to join the national NAACP, the local Indianapolis chapter office, clergy and business people who are committed to equality and fairness in our country in the fight to end racial inequities.

Whether you wear a uniform, business suit, lab coat, scrubs or a shield to work your presence is needed in Indianapolis at 9am on November 1 at the Federal Court House
