DaVido has been thrown out of over 200 Starbucks, (and it's all on video!) ever since he submitted his self-penned song "JavaJitter" to the Starbucks Corp. regretfully having it rejected. DaVido decided to take matters into his own hands and perform "JavaJitter" at every Starbucks humanly possible, hoping one day Starbucks Corp. would see his video and put "JavaJitter" on the cd racks with the rest of their music. Unfortunately, in almost every case, the Starbucks employees called the police, they called 911, one employee even threatened to call the FBI. I'm 10-year-old McKenna Andrews and I've written ‘Riding The Storm Out’ an amazing tale inspired by the true story of captive dolphins swept from their oceanarium and out to sea by Hurricane Katrina. In my book, Noah is a young dolphin who is swept from his aquarium & out to sea and worse – he’s separated from his pod. This changes when Noah meets Zack (a wild dolphin) who introduces him to his pod and begins teaching him how to survive. Medicare's unbridled growth is one of the most serious problems facing our country
With a long-term debt six times larger than Social Security’s, Medicare is expected to double in size within the next 30 years, triple by 2050, and if costs are not contained, consume nearly 80 percent of our GDP by 2075. In order to support this unbridled growth, the Congressional Budget Office estimates the average federal income tax rate would have to increase to 66 percent. We spend more than twice as much per capita on health care as other developed countries, yet when these expenditures are taken into account, our performance is ranked 37th among the nations of the world. And when efficiency in improving citizens’ health is added in, we drop to a dismal 72! It’s time to get a handle on this tenuous situation.
