Grand Opening August 19/20, 2006 for New Children and Youth Facilities at Christ Fellowship Miami

MIAMI, FL - - August 14, 2006 - - Christ Fellowship Miami, located in Palmetto Bay, has scheduled the official grand opening of their Children’s and Youth Facilities for August 19th & 20th.  Families are already saying “WOW!”

The church recently finished their new children and youth facilities. It is “church meets Disney World”, literally. The church partnered with Christian based Wacky World studios, where former employees of Disney and Universal work, to renew their children’s space. Families are flocking to Christ Fellowship to expose their children and teenagers to Biblical teaching in an environment that is relevant to them.

The children’s facility is a kid village with colorful and winding streets. Three, four and five year olds have their own worship service in Praise Island. Elementary children go to themed rooms for their Bible study before going to The Way Station for their very own worship service with singing, drama and teaching.  

The youth facility feels like a coffee house, featuring a game room, a café, live bands and two large worship rooms with plasma screens plastered all over the walls. Most importantly, the space is designed to be highly educational and interactive. Each room has the latest technology, computer systems and tables where the children and teenagers discuss Scripture each week. “We believe that children and teenagers learn best through creative teaching and interaction with others. Our new facility helps us teach the Christian faith to children and teenagers more effectively,” says Executive Pastor Eric Geiger.

The church members recently gave over 1 million dollars to complete the project. Nearly 1000 children and teenagers gather each week at Christ Fellowship.

Christ Fellowship offers three weekend services – Saturdays at 6:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am. During each of the services, the children and youth ministries meet.  Grand Opening festivities will take place during all three weekend services.
